Increase volume, even out the volumes of tracks that were transferred from different sources. All transfer are performed through Hi-Fidelity analog to digital converters to ensure no quality loss. He has spent time working, studying and overseeing projects in renowned studios, such as Ocean Way Studios (Nashville), Sterling Sound (NY), Sound Station Seven (RI) and Triad Recording (RI). Since the inception of Walk of the Earth Productions in 2005, Rob has engineered and produced recordings for dozens of regional bands and artists while harnessing the power of the studio to record and release his own creative projects. Other than CD album releases, these projects have included stints with film recording, television work and live event recording. He has most recently spent some time studying at Ocean Way Studios with some of music's greatest, including Jerry Douglas, Bob Ezrin (of Pink Floyd and Peter Gabriel), Bil Vorndick (of Bela Fleck and James Taylor), Kyle Ford (of Robert Plant and Alison Krauss' Raising Sand) and Steve Fishell (of Emmylou Harris). This way we can map out a production plan to maximize our productivity in the studio and ensure we spend the right amount of time on the right things. Recording can be done live, or by using a track-by-track approach. Each method has its benefits, and a combination of both can be used in most applications. Recording and mixing sessions begin at 10am. Full day sessions are usually wrapped up by 7pm, although it is not unusual for it to run over if need be. Night block sessions start at 6pm and end at 10pm. Coffee, tea and purified water is supplied through sessions. A one hour break is taken in the middle of each full day session. During the break, you are welcome to use our outside lounge on the deck while you eat. There is also an available lounge inside for cold and rainy days. A local restaurant directory has been put together for your convenience. For comfort, there is air conditioning in the studio.
